Vamsi P. Bonthala
Managing Principal

Vamsi Bonthala is a co-founder and Managing Principal of the Navnish Group. In this role, Vamsi oversees general corporate strategy for Navnish Development and NVN Hotels and leads efforts related to acquisitions, dispositions, development, investor relations and strategic partnerships. Prior to co-founding the Navnish Group, Vamsi practiced corporate law with the law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he focused on private equity transactions that included venture capital/growth equity investments, leveraged buyout transactions, recapitalizations, mergers, acquisitions, sales, various forms of debt financings and fund formations. Prior to joining Kirkland, Vamsi practiced law with the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in the firm’s real estate group where he was involved in over $1 billion of commercial mortgage and mezzanine financings and restructurings for hotels, office buildings and shopping centers.

Vamsi received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan, where he received Class Honors and University Honors. Vamsi received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an Associate Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law, and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.  Vamsi has been a speaker at industry events, is a member of the President’s Circle of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, serves on the Board of Directors of Open Books and is active in alumni affairs for Phillips Exeter Academy.

Sheenal C. Patel
Managing Principal

Sheenal Patel is a co-founder and Managing Principal of the Navnish Group. In this role, Sheenal oversees general corporate strategy for Navnish Development and NVN Hotels and leads efforts related to acquisitions, dispositions, development, investor relations and overseeing strategic partnerships. Prior to co-founding the Navnish Group, Sheenal was a Vice President with CharterMac/Related Capital Company, a real estate finance company. While at Charter, Sheenal originated and structured approximately $1 billion of debt products for multifamily housing projects and was responsible for leading Charter’s origination efforts in the Eastern Region of the United States. Prior to joining Charter, Sheenal was a Financial Analyst in the Leveraged Finance/Investment Banking Group of CIBC World Markets where he focused on structuring and originating leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and venture capital transactions.

Sheenal received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan. Sheenal is a member of the President’s Circle of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and is active in alumni affairs for Phillips Exeter Academy.

Krishna S. Sangani
Chief Financial Officer

Krishna Sangani is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of the Navnish Group. In this role, Krishna focuses on financial reporting, corporate administration and general asset management matters for Navnish Development and NVN Hotels. Prior to co-founding the Navnish Group, Krishna was a Senior Director with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, a public benefit corporation which oversees New York City’s public health care system in all five boroughs. At HHC, Krishna supervised the accounting, auditing and finance departments, as well as being involved in various operational and managerial issues for HHC. Krishna has also practiced as an independent accountant and financial advisor and has immense experience servicing several individual and corporate hotel owners.

Krishna received his BSc in Accounting from the University of Bombay. Krishna is admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.

Suresh A. Patel
Chief Accounting Officer

Suresh Patel is a co-founder and Chief Accounting Officer of the Navnish Group. In this role, Suresh focuses on accounting matters, corporate administration and general asset management matters for Navnish Development and NVN Hotels. Suresh has significant experience in developing, owning and operating mid-market hotels throughout the United States. Prior to co-founding the Navnish Group, Suresh founded, and was the majority shareholder and Chief Executive Officer of, All-Service, Inc., an industrial parts manufacturer. Prior to founding All-Service, Suresh was a construction engineer with Campeau Corporation in Canada and Multi-Construction Corporation in Uganda.

Suresh received his BSc in Engineering from Gujarat State Engineering University.

Kenneth W. Stovall
Vice President of Operations

Kenneth Stovall is Vice President of Operations for NVN Hotels.  Kenneth brings over 20 years of successful leadership experience to the team. Over the course of his career, Kenneth has had direct involvement in the development, acquisition and management of franchised (including Hilton, IHG, Choice and Wyndham brands) and independent full-service, focused-service and extended-stay hotels throughout the country.  In his role as Vice President of Operations, Kenneth is responsible for the operations and performance of all hotels managed by NVN Hotels.  In particular, Kenneth works closely with hotel staff in managing day to day operations, training, sales, food & beverage, human resources and accounting.  Prior to joining NVN Hotels, Kenneth was with Integral Hospitality Solutions, a national hotel management company, with which he started as a hotel General Manager and ultimately rose to Director of Operations overseeing a multi-hotel portfolio.  Prior to Integral, Kenneth was Senior Property Manager for the Charter Property Companies, where he oversaw a portfolio of over 30 properties in four states.

Kenneth served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps for ten years where he was responsible for training officers, as well as agents of the DEA and FBI.  Kenneth attended Auburn University and holds several hotel General Manager certifications and is also certified with the National Center for Housing in Washington, DC and in property management and leasing.

Caesar A. Lanceta
Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management

Caesar Lanceta is Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management for NVN Hotels.  Caesar brings over 20 years of hotel sales and operations experience to the team. Caesar’s career includes experience with the management and sales efforts of franchised (including Hilton, IHG, Wyndham and La Quinta brands) and independent full-service, focused-service and extended-stay hotels throughout the country.  In his role as Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management, Caesar is responsible for the revenue generating efforts of all hotels managed by NVN Hotels.  In particular, Caesar works closely with hotel staff on group sales, yield management, OTA relationship management, social media strategy and other revenue related items.  Prior to joining NVN Hotels, Caesar held various leadership positions in the hospitality industry including Regional Director of Operations for RFS, Inc., Regional Director of Operations for Southland Development, Area General Manager for La Quinta Inn Hotels and General Manager and Director of Sales at various hotels.

Caesar received his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Louisville and his M.A., cum laude, from Walsingham University.  Caesar also holds several hotel General Manager and Director of Sales certifications. Prior to college, Caesar served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Matthew J. Berhinig
Controller

Matthew Berhinig is the Controller for NVN Hotels.  Matthew brings over 10 years of hotel accounting experience to the team.  In his role as Controller, Matthew is responsible for the accounting matters of all hotels managed by NVN Hotels.  In particular, Matthew leads efforts with respect to financial statement production, A/R and A/P management, expense tracking, payroll, cash flow monitoring and other accounting items.  Prior to joining NVN Hotels, Matthew held various leadership positions in the hospitality industry including Director of Finance at the Silversmith Hotel and Suites in Chicago, IL, Senior Accountant at Shell Vacations, Accounting Manager at the Bricton Group, Assistant Director of Purchasing at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, IL and Property Accountant and Human Resources Manager at the Doubletree Hotel in Schaumburg, IL.

Matthew received his B.A. in Economics from DePaul University.
